idk if you do this already... but I skip the SP in the chords in the verse right after the solo so I can use my previous SP bar in that section. You can still get a full bar from the next two Sp's by whammying. Doing that finally got me past like 173-175,000 which I was getting before. If that's not what you do already give it a shot. You pick next song by the way.
