GH2-S5-PS2-Open B (OB) Thread - Week 6 Songs Up

It might be easier, OB folks, if you strap your index finger to your middle finger so that it can't possibly interfere- your middle finger would still be the one pressing down the frets. OR, those of you who are good at keyboard style could try that, as you have the advantage of a thumb in that situation.

Whilst I never considered actually trying it keyboard style, I don't use my thumb for it in any case, so it'd probably be more detrimental to me if anything. My index already knows not to touch teh fret buttons, so that's already spiffy.

I actually thought this twist was going to be impossible but had decent score after only a couple runs.

There was no way I could not reach for the G with my index finger if I lost my place and this was a problem. But the key was I had to splint up my index finger so I couldn't bend it to touch the key at all. Felt really awkward at first but I was amazed at how my other fingers just moved on their own. Worked for CPU also.

While I can't foresee an FC, I can at least see getting a score I'm comfortable with submitting.

This twist is turning out a lot like the mirror mode twist. I bitched about it for the first day, and now I'm getting the hang of it. I can definitely FC this now. And no, I don't use keyboard style or splint my index finger in any way.

Two things:

Firstly, I'm with JR. The twist has clicked for me too. FC is definitely possible here. Good for me too, because I'm pretty much done with the other songs

Wow, I didn't think anyone would say that they could FC this. That would be quite a feat. Hopefully the twist will click for me as well as it clicked for mirror mode. Now to go work on the rest of the songs. At least I can feel good on three of the four songs(I won't say which is the bad one).
