I'm down with BATM. I'll get a score up tonight. Lets all collectively hope that JHetfield has his worst run ever on his first attempt.....

btw... here is the sections of crossroads I specifically have problems with. If it were not for the two highlighted areas, I could FC the song all they way to the 3rd solo...

ok BATM it is then. i'll have a score up sometimes over the weekend (it's Friday afternoon here). rabies, as far as that part on Crossroads goes, I used to have trouble on that part too. first, i recommend alt. strumming that whole part. no HO/PO. when it goes: RYBOBYRG YB, try to divide up the rhythm mentally into groups of 4 notes since they are 16th notes, such as follows:

RYBO, BYRG, YB (still sixteenth notes). when i thought of it that way, it changed everything, and i was able to do it. i hope that helps somewhat.

same thing goes for the other part you have circled:

RYBO, BYRG, YBY

mind you, of course those groups of notes continue into one another, but thinking about it that way will hopefully help you.

Those are the parts I can't get as well. It's sad really. I never did post up my high score on crossroads, but I only got like 230k. So I lose .

For the end of BATM do you alt strum all of it or use HO/POs? I try to do both and can only reach a x6. I can't get a x4/x8 combo going at the end and its really hurting my score.

I alt. strum all of the end solo ala krimsunmunkeys. it works much better than HO/PO. you'll screw up at first because the strumming pattern is a little awkward...but stick with it and you'll get it and eventually improve.

I use alt strumming, problem is since you can't "reset" the strum bar because you don't have enough time in between, you will probably get lost and put an extra strum in there somewhere. If you practice it, you should be able to get it eventually though
