It's two measures long... but it has 64 notes in it, so it seems a lot longer. Misirlou will help you out with this song. I expect to do very poorly this week. I have no talent/experience with any of these songs or the twist. I think I'll still make playoffs though. |

It is actually my favorite twist overall, but every song i have played it on hasn't been so HO/PO reliant, so i don't know how this will be... The other songs will be (with a bit more practice) awesome for me, though!

The twist for me is currently mixed pain.
If I fret with my left hand, I can keep up during the "easier" parts and my strum hand works just as normal. However, I failed (without SP) somewhere in the solo because my fret hand can't keep up.
I went and turned on the lefty flip, and while my left hand can't strum worth a crap during the "easier" parts, I could actually nail the solos since it's "strum and forget" (and my right hand is my primary hand when I play beatmania). |

Yeah. I forget what the twist rules say exactly, but the key thigns are that the guitar needs to be horizontal (on your lap or a table), and you play the frets with one hand from above, like a piano.

I put this into the OP but here it si too:
IMPORTANT Note: in order to be eligible for playoffs you must have submitted scores for either week 5 or week 6, to show that you are not inactive. AAA Playoffs will be 12 people in size.
If for some reason you know you cant submit week5 and week6 scores but you want to be eligible for the playoffs, then let me know via PM.

I don't know if I want to do cherry pie again since it was an fc but with a horrible path.
These songs can't really keep my interest since I think I've climbed as high as I can and it's the last week for me.
Jessica is surprisingly fun and I can see that me playing beatmania helps alot in this mode. Jessica's and TLTB will be the songs I play more than twice this week. |

I actually had the opposite experience - when I started getting pretty good at TLTB was when I finally started to get Misirlou. Still though, it's hard for me to get up to 4x on either of the two songs, I just always seem to get slightly off over a long run.
And, I finally got the first sp phrase a couple times but it only does you good if you can then hit the even harder 16th note runs at the beginning of the verses. Talk about out of the frying pan, into the fire.

Well, I am about to submit my scores, although I only have scores for 2 songs. I only had a GH disc until Tuesday night, and I hadn't played Cherry Pie yet, and I only did one run of Jessica, but I didn't write the score down. I may or may not drop from 1st (it will be close), but I still would have liked to submit a score for every song. I have every other week. Besides, I could've finally gotten that easy Cherry Pie FC that is long overdue. Anyway, I am pretty happy with my TLTB score. If I had more time, I maybe could've gotten it up by about 10K. My TNB score is pretty mediocre as far as I am concerned. It's my worst song as far as ranks go. If I had a whole week, maybe I could've FC'd it. Oh well, I'll be ready for the playoffs.
