Ok, does anyone know what I'm talking about? In Double Dragon 2 on NES, you could do a variety of moves which would knock your opponent over in one hit, such as the spin kick in the air, or the uppercut when you land. Then, on top of that, once in a while by some crazy magical accident I'd pull off this crazy knee move (and there'd be an old-school NES whooshing sound) and it would knock the enemy COMPLETELY across the screen. But to this day, I still can't figure out how to execute that move. Does anyone actually know how to do it, or is it just some crazy fluke that noone really understands?

I thought it was either A+B or just the Select button. Try those. A+B should be it because I know on the TMNT arcade games (Manhattan Project especially) A+B did special moves. Hope that's it though. DD kicks ass by the way!

Right after you get up from a fall or land from a jump, when you're still crouching, press jump for the hyper knee and punch for hyper uppercut.

Another words, when you get knocked down, mash jump.

How I remember it: hit A+B just as you're getting up. I don't remember an uppercut at all.

By just doing that move non-stop with an autofire controller (I always used the NES Max), you could beat that game in about 10 minutes. Mr. Green
