Since this is now over, I'm waiting on rkcr (along with anyone else) to post their thought, pics, vids, whatever, about this!
Hello all! As some of you might (though probably not) know, I've decided to host one of these little weekend gathering dealies. This thread it for anyone interested in coming or contributing!
I've been talking with fenster, soundgarden, and a few others who said they would come to it.
Details:
I have a PS2 with both games, an X-Box (with a handful of games), a pretty nice surround sound system, and an empty room (depending on when my roommate gets back from Texas). Fenster has said that he'll bring his GH stuff, and I believe someone has said that they would bring their GH2-360 stuff. I'm going to try to get alcohol, but I, personally, can't promise anything.
NEW!!!! I just bought a 360, but won't have GH2 for it (waiting for GH3/RB). I hope to have games like Dead Rising, Gears of War, etc, by this party happens.

People who are going that do customs, bring your discs, since Joe has a modded PS2 and more customs = better. _________________

How old are you? I'm 17 and I plan to go unless I can't get around Protestant nutjob parents or work if I have a job at the time, I just wouldn't be drinking (not that I haven't tried alcohol before, but I'm in Mount Horeb so I have to drive, not like I can walk). But then again, if you live too far away you probably can't go, but if you can find a way to get there I'm sure no one will have a problem with you going. _________________

Aye, I'll bring my guitars (one of which is velcro modded oooo), and if need be I can bring the, ahem, beverages. Oh, and I conveniently live a block or two away so if sleeping arrangements become a problem, some people can probably crash at our place (assuming my 5 roommates are cool with that). _________________

Yes...beverages...
I have a feeling that some of us may get thirsty
We could also have everyone chip in/donate for it, too, if that's kosher. _________________

No way I'm missing this, I'll bring a shit-ton of beverages and some guitars too... maybe i'll even have a custom disc by then. Depending on when this is I may be able to give you a ride down Hackel... you know, if it's gonna be a big deal. _________________

I can bring my 360 and guitars ( i think i was the one joerod was talking about in the first post) but I won't be moving in until the 29th so if you want to move it back a week or two then I will be counting myself in for sure. _________________

I'd love to stop by. You seem to all talk about beverages so lightly...so ill assume you are pretty much all under age? I'm 22 so depending on the circumstances I could bring alchohol. But I wouldn't do that if people not in college are comming.
But let me know what date you are planning, I'm prolly going up north one of those weekends and it would suck if it was the same one.
Also, I SHOULD have a place to stay if it gets crowded. Its my last semester so I'm subletting fall only, and thats proving harder to find than I thought. |

Madison is only a four/five hour drive away - I am SO there. Hopefully Kov will be going, too, so we can roadtrip down.
Also, I've got a friend who could house me down there, if need be. |
