I'm getting this tomorrow and it is going to be great! KaK (create-a-character), KaF (Create a Fatality), and 50+ Characters!!!
This is probably going to be the best mortal kombat ever, even better than DA (Deadly Alliance).
Anyone else going to buy this? What are your opinions on this game? _________________

Weirdest thing is that the night before I saw they announced this game, I brought up to my friend that they should have (all of the features added that are now)...the next day, I woke him up and I was like...DUDE IM A PSYCHIC!!!! _________________

The opening intro was quite possibliy the coolest thing I have ever seen created for a Mortal Kombat game.
Now as for the actual game. It is the stupiest thing I have ever seen. Now maybe the animations or something had some tweaking but I doubt it being so close the release. The entire ariel combo system looks unbalanced and insanely stupid. The videos I saw had characters bouncing bodies down and them repeling back at the same angle. Characters hiting a floating character, jump back to the ground and do a handstand back to the air contining a combo.
It just looks stupid. Maybe it is a new idea to put it there but it looks like they are trying to make it into one of them Budakai games or something. Only reason why I would be remotely attracted to it was for the new characters. Besides that the game looks like complete rubbish. _________________

I wish it had Puzzle Kombat. I played that more than the regular game on Deception. _________________

Well I'm sure it'll be quite popular at the lock in to begin with, as it is MK and they did like Deadly Alliance.
I'll be sure to get it for the lock-in. _________________

I really didnt like this one. They dumbed down the combat system even more. The create a fatalaty is horrible, they should have just kept the signature fatalites. Its a real dissapointment for me.
I think i'll go back to playing Virtua figher or tekken. |

yeah, i thought the create a fatality would be like make your own, not snapping the guys arm 4 times, ripping his heart out and pulling his head off (OH PARDON!) _________________

I have this game, it's pretty fun I suppose. The collector's edition has UMK3 on it as well, wish I'd have known that BEFORE buying the normal one but, whatever.
And kreate a fatality sounds nice on paper, until you understand that they used that in place of character-specific fatalities. Don't get me wrong, the KAF system is pretty extensive, I'd have to say there are at least a thousand different combinations you can put together...but it isn't as satisfying to me when you can do the exact same fatality with everyone. _________________
