Have to agree. Other than GH, this is the game that's spending the most time in my PS2 at the moment, and will be until FFXII comes out. When I'm done with that, it'll probably go back in there. Very fun and highly replayable game.

Riz.

Is this an old game? I have heard of it but never played it (or any if its a series).

Do you guys recommend it if I have played/ will have played every FF to date?

Well... I like the game somewhat, after the story actually starts (doesn't take too long), before that it's pretty meh. Fighting is real-time, though I was a bit hesitant about that, it works extremely well.

GameSpot review. 'Nuff said, I think... Not exceptionally good, but definitely worth playing.

I played the crap out of this game too, but never beat it. For some reason, I can never bring myself to beat a Star Ocean game. It started with Star Ocean: Second Story on the psx, I got to the final boss of the game (even beat that optional dungeon that was really long) and just stopped playing. I actually liked Til the End of Time a lot more, but did the same thing, got to the area just outside of the final boss and stopped playing.

I'm not really certain why I do that with this series, I really liked both games and liked the story lines enough to want to find out what happens at the end.
