a metal pad isn't going to be as expensive as a home machine, and you can get metal pad that feel just like arcade pads

Not all metal pads are built the same.

Be warned.

I have broken 2 sets of metal pads in the years I've played, and I'll tell you right now, if you are a big guy, then don't settle for anything cheaper than a Blueshark. Yes, they are expensive, but chaces are you'll break the sensors on anything cheaper.

but most Blueshark machines are the same prices as most DDR machines and ITG machines

aside from ITG3 DDR: Supernova DDR: Supernova 2 lol so if you are a big man like he says, I suggest just getting the machine.

just get a pad that can plug into your pc, and download stepmania, then you can download official ddr songs and then some.

Just... don't get a CF. It really is not that good. Even with the arcade mod, it still could stand to be much better. Simply put, it's "maybe" up to $100 of material, but you pay $300 for it.
