Nice.. I guess I probably won't play Mother 3 until there is an English translation in some form. Makes me a sad panda. |

I saw it earlier as well... awesome that they're keeping the mother series in brawl(even though Ness hasn't been confirmed yet).
This gets me wondering though... SSBB will undoubtedly be a popular game. Is this Nintendo's possible advertisement for a future Mother 3 US release? (After all, it did work quite well for Fire Emblem in SSBM).
I can only hope so |

Anyone else still have the scratch and sniff cards along with the strategy guide? awesome.
And the strategy guide itself was a gem, even though you really dont need it, it just adds to the fun of the game. |

not to go all 'wise from your gwave', but with the recent announcement of Masterpieces to be included with Smash Bros Brawl, the jap. side of the site has 2 additional game that arent shown on the english site. one of which is Fire Emblem: Monshō no Nazo and Mother 2 (image incase they update the page)
so what am i getting at exactly? hopefully with the release of SSBB in the US, we'll also see the release of Earthbound on VC, but with the way NOA has been towards the mother series, i wouldnt be surprised if it doesnt see the light of day for a while. also, with the inclusion of Ike into Brawl, im guessing it might draw more attention to the Fire Emblem series from US gamers, despite the fact that every FE game since SSBM came out has made its way here. additionally, with the inclusion of Lucas, there will be more demand for the mother series, and we might see the, unfortunantly unreleased, english version of Mother on the virtual console, and a possible release of Mother 3 in the US, even though i cant wait for the starmen.net guys to finish the fan-translation. _________________

Old school stuff there. I've gotten pretty far in the game, eventually I just could never finish it. The thought of cracking a baseball bat over some punk head I always thought was amusing. |
