Also, *stabs solo 7*. The FIRST time I ever missed it yesterday and I fucking happen to FC the REST of the fucking song...
You would be surprised by how many 1000+ ns I had too... waaaaaaaaay too many FC runs were bombed on the O streak in 8 too many times until NIN gave me a nifty tip.

Close race to the finish. I'm still going for the top spot, but as long as I make the playoffs, it's really not that big a deal.
1 goddam tick strykerx! *sigh* I'd be in first overall right now. Oh well, still one week left.
And good job to psx for the sweep this week. I was only one place away from it last week  .

What was the tip? I just alt strum the whole thing but usually mess up. Do you down strum the first half of O notes and alt strum the rest?

What was the tip? I just alt strum the whole thing but usually mess up. Do you down strum the first half of O notes and alt strum the rest? |
I downstrum the first 4 and then alt-strum the rest and it works without fail on the PS2. For whatever reason I couldn't do it on 360. So then I tried to downstrum the whole thing, which I could do with ease in practice but kept failing to do so in a real run.
But yeah, alt-struming the streak is the way to go. You should end with a downstrum on the note after the O streak (yellow?).
It bugs me having to do different things for the two consoles...

Of course I get a Raw Dog FC my score is abysmally (Is that a word?) low.
I still don't know where those 64 points in Radium Eyes came from psx

YES! First place in Hanger 18 in X3. I knew constantly playing it until I 5 starred it would help me get a high position.
6th on one for the road? Odd, I thought I would be lower. I just kept playing, then submitted my first score that gave me 5 stars (such an annoying song).
7th for Radium Eyes. Ok song, I just played it and FCed it, then submitted.
7th for Raw Dog. Well, yeah, that was an average run.
Overall 5th place is nice. Let's hope I can get up one more position or two. Completing Expert has certainly helped me when playing hard. |

So I've reloaded the Leagues Forum page about 50 times today. When I finally step away from my computer to clean the house and eat lunch, the scores are posted. Go figure. 
Congratulations on the sweep psx. Last week's missed score was just giving everyone else false hope, wasn't it?
Looking at the scores, it's pretty clear who the top 3 will be. After that, 4th through 8th has about a 130 point range.
Since this is my first league, I was hoping one of you veterans could answer this question: Do playoffs typically start on the 5th week and last two weeks? Also, how many players are usually make it?
