Alright, people who are coming and what they're bringing:

Wedge - Nothing I guess. Maybe that crazy japanese shit again? That was fun.

Youhas - Soda and Beer (yay!) and 1 Les Paul (2 if you have 2)

Breakman X - Chips and dip, his PS3, hopefully 2 Les Pauls, and his own beer because he doesn't share

Hitoshura - Xbox360 and 1 Les Paul (2 if you have 2)

Leif Ericson - If you have a Les Paul or 2, bring them, also I need to confirm with your parents that you can come

Kow - Xbox 360 and 2 Les Pauls

Firestarter322 - Probably dick.

People who might show up because they haven't confirmed either way:

Smock514
ImaCarrot
ChrisVance
Thrice

I will be providing a modded PS2 to play customs on - I should be able to build customs disks fairly quickly, so we can sit down and choose some customs to burn up. Please bring your favorite PS2 controler for playing customs. We'll have at least two playing stations, one on the living room TV, which is probably the same as Youhas' and on my computer screen, which is a bit fuzzy, but still totally playable. The computer uses headphones and I only have one pair, so I need at least ONE person to please bring a pair of headphones. I guess no one is bringing an LCD TV or anything, so I'm going to try and scam one from my Mom for a couple nights. I don't think she'll have a big issue with that. I will try my absolute best to provide you all with some additional food and beverages. I hope you like chinese food, because that's probably what I'm going to get.

I'd like everyone to please specify when they'll be getting here and how long they'd like to stay. I'm going to say probably the earliest is Friday afternoon. If you get here that early, you're going to help me with getting set up. Acutally, if one person could get here then, that would be helpful so I don't have to go walking and carrying stuff all over town. COUGHBMXCOUGH. And I would say the latest is probably Monday morning. Although I don't mind, my roomates might think we're pushing it if people are staying over three nights in a row.

I will be PMing you with an address and directions once you confirm when you'll be arriving.

Alright, guys, this is going to be lots of fun. Looking forward.

Alright, it's looking like all-systems-go for some awesomeness on the weekend of November 3rd-4th. I checked in with my roomates and everything should be cool. Unfortunately, I'd love to provide every single little thing that everyone could want, much in the way that Youhas did, but I don't have a job a nice as his, so I'm going to count on each person who comes to contribute something.

Things that we're going to need:

1. A modded PS2. If no one has a PS2 capable of playing backed up games, I will get in touch with someone about doing a mod beforehand on their system so they can bring it. You should probably bring your own control.

2. A rig (xBox 360 or PS3) with GHIII and two Les Paul controllers. We can work out who brings what, but I want these to be available.

3. A decent TV. Ain't no way in hell anyone is playing anything on the shitbox that's downstairs right now. I'm trying to get a big screen at the moment (they're free on craigslist all the time) and might have one by then, but don't count on it. We can someone to biring like a nice 27" LCD or something.

4. Beverages. This includes beer and soft drinks. I'd generally like to keep the hard stuff on the shelf, but it you absolutely must, I guess you can bring some.

5. Food. Not sure how we could do this. We can either have everyone bring some snacks, or have everyone chip in on pizza, or everyone walk down the block to a restauraunt. Up to ya'll.

6. Sleeping apparatus. Basically, if you can bring yourself a sleeping bag and a pillow, you can crash anywhere. There's one couch for someone to nab if they want it. Also a large easychair you could fall asleep in sitting up. Some peeps like to sleep in thier car, which is cool too.

That's pretty much everything I can think of unless anyone can add something. I don't think it will be a problem is people start showing up Friday evening, shouldn't be an issue. Noise won't be a big problem because two of my roomates are deaf, the other is an insomniac and the last... well fuck him. Lol, j/k, but he should be cool. We've got plenty of chair and seats, so don't worry about that. We've got a decent fridge to keep things in. If someone wants to bring a cooler with ice in it, that might be good, too. Basically anything else anyone wants to bring will work out just fine. We just need those bare essentials. Let me know what you guys think.

Hey everybody.

So, after seeing how well the Youhas Global get together went, I'd like to throw one of my own in my new place in Dublin. Dublin is right next Pleasnaton and it's in the East SF Bay Area. My new place is pretty neat and it's a relatively large space, so it won't be nearly as cramped as Youhas' place.

So, express tentative interest here.

I'd like to hear from you guys when you think it should me, bearing in mind the following:

Weekends usually work well for people. 27th/28th or November 3rd/4th would probably be the target weekends.

GHIII comes out the 29th, a Monday.

Halloween is on the 31st, the following Wednesday.

So weigh out your availability, the release dates and Halloween day to what you think would be best.

Generally, I don't think we want anyone under 18. If you're borderline, we may be able to work something out with your parents. Otherwise, if you think you're just gonna hitch a ride and steal some booze, it's not gonna happen.

I'm down. Was thinking of hosting something myself for the weekend after halloween (I'm busy the weekend before) but this works too. Nov 3/4 would probably be best, though I have to double check that I don't have something else going on.

I'm gonna assume I can just take BART out there so that I don't have to think about driving.

Generic expression of interest goes here.

No idea which date(s) are superior for me and mine - will let my social coordinator consult the runes and clue me in accordingly.

I'm personally leaning toward Halloween night, since I won't have to take any time off work if I do that. Not only that, I'm sure we'll get more people since I think my room mates will be doing a "co-op" Halloween party, so we'll have SC people as well as non-SC people. Not only that, I'll get to live out my dream of playing GHIII with an axe in my head.

i'm afraid both of those weekends are bad for me. Halloween is right out. I'm moving Nov. 1st, so weekend before will be packing, and weekend after will be unpacking.

Tentative expression of interest here, too. I'm not exactly sure of my schedule around then, I think that I should generally be free but I haven't figured out if my house is putting anything together for Halloween and when. I'll try to update when that's sorted.

Halloween wouldn't work for me at all, my 3 year old is extremely excited to go trick or treating and I wouldn't want to miss that. I would be interested in pretty much any other day though, since you are in Dublin, should figure out how many people are taking Bart and arrange for a time to give people rides back to your place.

That's a good idea. I could get the ol' 85' Camaro shuttle goin'.

Alright, then, I guess I'm leaning toward the first weekend of November. Everyone should be in high spirits by then. What with the holidays getting under way and everyone having had their way with GHIII.

Dublin ain't that bad of a drive. This sounds pretty cool; I'll have to double-check my availability, though. Halloween will definately be a "no" for me, though, as I'll be working early the morning of Nov. 1st. But assuming the weekend of the 3rd and 4th works out, would we be showing up on Saturday and hanging out until Sunday?

First weekend of November works acceptably enough for me, I suppose. Ealasaid will be out of town, but I'll be free and otherwise bored off of my ass. (Halloween proper sucks 'cuz of the whole "have work the next day, so it turns into a pop-by-for-three-hours-fest". And the weekend before has that whole "need to camp out somewhere and acquire GHIII" aspect wedged into the middle of it.)

Will go with an 80% chance of the "show up on Saturday and stay the night" variety of hanging out, space willing.

I'd definitely be interested in going. I actually have the whole week of the 29th off from work, so any of your original suggestions for days would work for me. But Nov. 3/4 sounds optimal - it'll give everyone time alone first with their new GH. What system will you be getting GH3 for, Jetster? Would you be interested in setting up multiple units if people bring their own equipment? I'm not sure how big you're wanting to make this get-together.

I'm acutally having some serious personal problems right now. Johnny law caught up with me yesterday and towed my car. Bascially, I'm getting punished for having no money. I'm having to come up with ridiculous amounts of money in the next few days to get my car back. I've ready sold my PS2, I'll probably have to hawk my computer/s and my trumpet. Don't know yet. I'll keep you updated, if I can't get my act together within the next couple weeks I don't think I'll be able to host a party.

hmm well...im sorry about your personal problems due.

I am only 15 and a half but i live 5 minutes away from you, so I could ride my bike to your house...I'm sure my parents would let me go. I had a bad expirience with alcohol, so I'm not trying that shit again. (i have one kidney so I can not risk drinking) so u dont have to worry about me wanting that.

I can bring my ps2 in a bag if u need lol. Depending on the time weekend it is I might have other things

So...we'll keep in touch.
