| I'm new here, but wedge pointed me this way and suggested this board was a good way to get together with other people who play. I've got a PS2 and a 360, and I can bring either if really necessary. I'm contemplating staying in hiding until GH3 comes out and I can finally play either game without even a whiff of the Xplorer. I do so hate that thing. |

Hypothetically, sure. It's happened before; it'll happen again, undoubtedly. 
For what it's worth, in case you want opportunities to see some locals in the flesh: many of us will be at the Fairfield Mall Best Buy tournament during the first weekend of November, and several of us will be making it on up to the tournament in Santa Rosa in early December. Me, I will continue pining fruitlessly for events to be held in the South Bay for a change. (Although I could probably hit Wedge's office with a golf ball from the roof of my office if I tried hard, so it's not like I get to totally complain, I guess.)

| I'd be down to hang out in the south bay too. i live in san mateo and work at cisco on the north end of San Jose, so I spend a fair amount of time in either location |

| Yeah, a tournament in the South/East Bay would be nice. I'm definitely interested in meeting up with others around the Bay interested in playing GH. It would be great to get a full band together for when Rock Band comes out. |

Nah; it's looking like the jackasses at Best Buy are wussing out 'cuz they know ScoreHeroes are coming and they don't have spare changes of underwear for when we melt their faces and they shit themselves.
Info is still scarce, but if I had to choose between the two events, it'd be the Jetster-Bash.

Yes, my post was made (1) before the Best Buy people had totally flaked out on us and (2) before the notional Jetster get-together got resurrected. So, uh, never mind what I said previously.
