So. Wii or PS3?

Eventually I'm getting both, but I will be purchasing the Wii bundle which comes with TP first. So, I vote Wii.

I camped out a total of 34 hours to get the Wii so I think it's pretty obvious what I'm voting for. I've been playing Zelda, Red Steel, and Wii Sports (which is so insanely fun I can't believe it) for the last 12 hours.

I got the chance to play the Wii at my friend's last night. It's amazing. My Mii looks exactly like me! Wow.

Even if I had the extra cash to burn on a PS3, I still wouldn't buy it. It won't be worth it. And I don't want a Wii because my interest in games has shifted in the last couple years to different genres. I bought a 360 a few days ago, along with Gears of War, and it's awesome. The PS3 has a lot working against it, and like my sig says, I honestly can't wait to watch it crash'n'burn out of the console world. In fact, I never actually bought a PS2, and I'm glad I didn't.

Definitely the Wii! To tell the truth, I have the NES, the SNES, the N64, the Gamecube, and Wii, as well as 2 classic Gameboys, 3 Gameboy Pockets, 2 Gameboy Colors, 3 Gameboy Advances, and 1 DS. My life has revolved around Nintendo, so I'm sticking with the Wii (I even have the very first issue of Nintendo Power in my hand right now!). While i do have a decent share of Playstation games, I like Nintendo's style much more. All of my friends are getting the Wii as well. Maybe when the PS3 drops to $300 used, I might get it, but otherwise, I won't. I'll wait until Pandelerium2021 gets it with his own money. That way, I can play it free of charge.

While I'm not looking into buying a system right now (I gotta save up for college). I would have to say PS3 because IMO about the time I do want to get a new system, the software for it will have a much wider selection and definitly worth the cost.

Also I look at the fact that the PS2 is still so sucessful meanwhile it was released over 5 years ago, so I believe Sony knows what they are doing.
