hey guys i know im not on here a lot but Im in the oxon hill,md/ PG county area of MD. Im down in woodbridge,VA almost all the time.

There is a Hard-Times Cafe down in Woodbridge that does a very popular Guitar Hero night every Friday night from 9pm till about 1am.

Im talking to the event-head to do a RockBand night atleast once or twice a month.

The GH night is freeplay then if enough people show up there is a tourny with cash prizes (I won 25$ in the Hard tourny).

The display is a huge Projection screen and right now the setup is GH3/2 and 80's on the PS2.

Most of the players are Med and really only play GH2. Im trying to get people to play GH3 more and Id be willing to bring my 360 to play on.

Have we come up with a good location yet? Doesn't seem like anyone's agreed on a certain place. My house is uber small + dirty + GH related holes in the wall of my room and the computer room. We could probably just split the money for a hotel room or something since noone wants to have it in their house. I'm thinking Manassas where GotSmak is, great hotel, I went there last year.

Hosting at my house is a possibility depending on the time/day/noise/stuff

If this was to happen, considering I am 19 and live with my grandparents a few rules.
1) No alcohol, unless you are 21+, responsible (OHNOES I SO WASTED I SPILT TEH BEERZ ON YO FLOOR)
2) No drugs, unless you're gonna share...but serious take it away from the house
3) Gotta keep the volume to a low roar, they are old people after all

I usually have around 10-15 people in my basement on any given night so I don't think they would care unless it was a bunch of 30+ year olds, but I'm guessing most of you are somewhere in 18-24.

We have a pretty hefty oldschool big screen, I'd say around 60 somthing inches and an Xbox Elite system, but I currently don't have GHanything at the moment so if this happend before I got my copy guitars / game wuold have to be brought.

Another system could be brought if enough people show and I could bring my 42" HD TV downstairs to hook that up also.

maybe some halo 3 at some point in hte night too

food, drinks, bring whatever you'd like to eat or drink, I'm sure I could provide some stuff too

don't use all of my TP or my grandpa might shoot you.

Edit: me and my grandmother are both smokers so if the smell bothers you , too bad...i'll also hotbox the basement to shit all night depending on how many other smokers there are, if its just me i might go outside :P

Double Edit : I would say my house, on any decided friday from about 6-8:30, then head over to Hard Times (15-20 minute drive) play from 9-1 then back to my place for some all night funs

and after 1 is when the drinking and drug abuse can really kick up

wow, that sounds perfect to me. Location is right where the biggest population is, and nobody else seems to be able to host. Low noise would make RB only a little less fun. *thinks back to "play that funky music" at squirrelfest*

Also, as far as a date goes, what would be good for you? I would say if we could do it the 28th, that would rock, considering everybody would have received their gifts, which might include GH3s and RBs. That and I can't do it next weekend.

28th would be fine for me, I'll need a list of definites and maybes so I can see how many people it'll be and I'll need to find out if they are having GH on the 28th also

date isn't confirmed i still have to talk to everyone and make sure its ok

everyone interested post dates that you are confirmed with and people that will definately come / maybe

also post what you are bringing, another system, guitars, games, food, drinks, illicit stuffs, whatever

anyone that would be drinking needs to keep it under control, don't get wasted and throw up everywhere keep it casual, people that need a ride make sure you have one

couch bummers will be limited
