I think it's a combination of the two. I'm pretty close, but I don't think I'll pull it off because of the 5 songs I have left. It's probably a similar situation with the others. I think we went in with high hopes, then realized just how hard this really is.

Hey!!! If it matters - I still care. I can't believe you guys! I'm still trying to get guitar god status and here you are trying to full combo hard.

I must say I am very impressed by both of you.

After years of growing up on video games it kinda stings to realize the young guns are now better than me.

Way to go guys - I hereby pass you the torch.

Post again when you get Texas Flood, Cowboys From Hell, Bark at the Moon, Fly on the Wall, or Get Ready 2 Rokk. Then I'll be impressed.

I can probably get CFH or GR2R. I know I can do each individual part in one run or another, but I can never glue them together. I may get the others, but I doubt it will happen. Besides, I'm busy with that other competition we have going.

Guitar Hero (not Full Combo)
Take It Off
Symphony Of Destruction (not Full Combo)
You Got Another Thing Comin'

That brings me to 30 (27+3) / 47

I'm pretty sure I'll never catch the top contenders, but I'd like to see the chart updated. It looks like I'm no longer behind.

I have 27. Once I get Callout, you can put me on there too. You know, to fill out the also-rans.

The green pedal notes are sixteenth notes but the guitar solo contains sixtheenth note triplets. You won't find anything faster than sixteenth note triplets in any of the songs except for maybe the stupid-ass double notes that approximate string bending on expert (and occasionally hard). I hate them wish a passion! Great for approximating the sound of bends if you are playing back a song without a pitch wheel but incredibly annoying when encountered in the game.

You realize that we are talking about the Hard difficulty, right?

In Expert, there are 16th triplets, but on Hard, there are just 16ths (unless I haven't been paying attention, because I haven't played hard for about a month).

I'm too lazy to get up and get the disc for GH from my PS2.

Whatever, I've got nothing better to do. I'm too tired to try beating scores right now.
