There's ps3's at pretty much anywhere now. They're just not being wanted this year, thanks to their poor starting lineup of games.
Wii+Zelda Launch+Giving us zelda fans something we have been wanting to do for ages, swing the sword as Link, and you have yourself a winning combination.
Things will definitely be interesting as the console wars goes on, as the ps3 exclusives gets released and if the Wii gameplay gets old after a while. _________________

Hmmm. While I do agree with the PS3 exclusives idea, I don't consider the Wii gameplay a gimmick, I think it just opens up new avenues, but in addition, I'd like to see how everything goes when Halo 3 comes out...mmm. _________________

I'm not saying that if it'll get old, I'm saying if the gaming community as a whole will see it as getting old and just a gimmick. However, with SSBB coming out for it in the Summer, I'm sure that'll revive the Wii for damn sure, as MANY players are DEFINITELY looking out for it.
And yes, Halo 3 will play it out a lot as well. I see a 360 coming into the household soon as well, just for that game, as you all know the gf is nuts about Halo. Looks like I just might be selling my NES stuff after all to get caught up >_> _________________

Wait... If Squirrel sells all his NES stuff, doesn't someone have to buy it...
And if he's selling nostalgia, doesn't that mean someone is buying nostalgia?
/me is confused.

Don't worry, its going to a good friend at home, that will keep very, very good care of it.
He is to NES as I am into Atari. _________________

Finally got my Wii earlier today!
It's updating right now anyway. I think my wireless connection is a little weak. _________________

I got really lucky. I went to a Software Etc. (subsidiary of GameStop/EB) and the store was swamped with customers, so I was pretty sure I was screwed. But I still asked if they had any in, and the guy said they didn't know yet cause they had just gotten a truck but hadn't gotten to sort through it yet.
So I stood there waiting for 90 minutes until finally another person showed up to help work the counter, and my patience paid off as I got to buy the first Wii of probably only three available there that day. _________________

my parents told my brother and me that they would be getting us one for christmas... well, that never happened. so i've been running around checking stores trying to find one, with no luck. waking up at 7am just to go to toys r us wasn't really much fun.
the ds lite has been sold out in our area too. nintendo must have had a good holiday season. |
