..but after 3 months, 19 days, 13 hours and 27 minutes-----I FINALLY beat BATM on hard!! I scared the hell outta my wife and kids with all the jumpin' and hollerin' I did around the house at the end of that one! Ahhh..the sweet sounds of success! My wife let me know that she's really happy I passed it 'cuz she was sick of hearing the first 86% of that song over and over and over...

Thank you! Thank you!

...now on to the next level....

Yeah congratulations. I was quite excited too when I finished hard a couple weeks ago. And I mostly agree with Atremains regarding expert, there are some songs that will drive you insane on expert. But most of them actually aren't much harder than they were on hard.

the jump from hard to expert isn't as dramatic compared to medium to hard, since there is no more fret buttons addes, but HOPO's are used more often. Like those two said, insanity. Let's just say you feel good about your skill when you PASS a song

yea, most of whats different on expert is just adding more chords and notes here and there. The only part of the song that is drastically different on Expert imo is the second solo. it goes from a little easy thing to this complex monster a la the end of the solos on cowboys from hell
