Ok, so there was some interest expressed in the Play n' Trade tournament thread for a Raleigh area meetup, so here it is!

When: February 2nd weekend! Friday evening - Sunday evening open house. I imagine Saturday will be the focus <.<

Where: My apartment on Woodbend Dr. Raleigh, NC, near the intersection of Lynn Rd and Six Forks Rd. Smallish but can have a decent number of people still.

Accomodations:
- Couch and Loveseat if you think you can use those. You'll need a sleeping bag otherwise and probably a pillow. Only relevant if you are staying the night of course. Change of clothes and bathroom stuff too.
- My camera takes crappy video so if you have a nice one, bring it along!

What I have:
Guitar hero 3 for the wii with 2 guitars. 40" widescreen TV.
Extra TV - (definitely not 40")
PS2 and Guitar hero 2 and Guitar Hero 1 for it with 2 guitars.
Super Smash Bros Melee
Still no rock band :/

Cost:
Bring enough money for gas to get here/back. I can order up some pizzas and have some snacks around as well, so you should be fine to not starve without food money.

Smoking/Drinking:
Smoking only outside.
EDIT: No alcohol.

Attendees:
If you can make it, lemme know what days you would be able to be here, Friday evening until Sunday evening is the range. Or if you can't make it but would've wanted to, suggest an alternate weekend!

Hope to hear back from you if you are in the NC area (or don't mind the drive from Virginia/South Carolina).

Oh!! Yay one in Raleigh
I'll try to come. I have a ps2 with 2 controllers. Since I'm just 14, I'll probably get a ride from my bro or something. I'll try my best to get permission

I'm a decent player. 4* TTFAF/tap
5* every song except TWIE, TTFAF, and TTL

Alcohol POSSIBLY a problem. Highly doubt it though.

Alchol is definately a problem (if I tell the truth or the whole truth when seeking permission from parents), but I can try to leave that part out when getting permission, or lie about where I'm going ;)

I also have GH for the PS2, so if you can't for some reason get it there aznkirby, let me know I can can bring any parts.

I'll try my best to show up, but I'll also probably need a definate when.

Thanks for hosting!

Depending on what is going on that weekend I might try to make it over there. I have a 360 and Rock Band if you want me to bring that for some more entertainment?

Cool, would love to have you! 360 + Rock Band would be great as well.

There'll probably be a few people driving and getting rides here. You may be able to hitch a ride with somebody that has you on the way or that lives close by to you. Might be worth mentioning an intersection close to your house and seeing if somebody wouldn't mind popping over to get you and bringing you back when you need it.

I have GH3 for the Wii, and I have a memory card for my PS2 with all the songs unlocked on GH1 and GH2. It shouldn't be necessary to bring your PS2 copy of GH3 or a memory card.

I have a bit of a haul to get there. Maybe PM me to meet someone where and I can give rides. I can extend this to anyone else near the Cary area or anyone on route to the party as well.

I'll invite my friends as well!

EDIT: I want cyclone there too! I've never had a chance to play customs, and it sounds like there'll be plenty of PS2 guitars. And I can get my reven-... err... congratulate him on winning his PS3.

I'll try to get people to finalize their plans to come this weekend so you can have a better idea on whether the million mile trek is going to be worth it!

The more the merrier. Let me know how many guests you'll be bringing as you find out who is able to make it that weekend.

haha, sorry but after witnessing that 700+ combo on Take This Life and a -2 or so on Knights, I'll be putting my money on Cyclone if said rematch occurs!

It doesn't look like I'll be able to make it next weekend. My friends are coming up to visit me at school I think, but if their plans change I probably will make the trip over there
