Is it really that hard? I can't get a single one; not even on easy. Am I missing something? My accuracy sucks, mid-80s if I'm lucky, but I can't seem to improve it.

So far my only theory is to get 90% accuracy. I've only got 1 A on easy and its the only song so far that I got 90% on.

Yeah, the grade seems to correlate to the accuracy, but not directly 1:1. There's many 89% A's on the leaderboards (interestingly listed as "A-" or even "A--") and I know I've gotten a 78-79% B.

But why does my accuracy suck so bad in this game? Is my rhythm/timing really that bad? Or am I not doing/missing something in this particular game?

I think accuracy is based on only your Awesome and Perfects. Good and anything below makes it drop...I think.

Finally got around to getting back to this (since I had no Internet/Live connection). Getting an A does NOT require a percentage of either accuracy or notes hit, at least not directly; like GH & RB it is score-based. You just have hit the... the... the whatever-they-call-star-power/over-drive as much as possible. I've gotten A's with accuracy in the (high) 70's and I have all my achievements: easy, medium, hard, 10x medium.

A grades relate to accuracy and overall score.. You can FC a song like I did for In The Hall Of The Mountain Dude and still not get an A. Much like SP for Guitar Hero Games, work out the best path for your bonus runs to max out that score and try to get as many perfects as possible.
