Right now I'm working on my 1st custom song. I'm using Tabit (fortunately a tab was available for the song). My question is what is the best way to get the notes in the correct spots in a fast solo?
Maybe I need to be able to read the tab better. It will say something like" (12) (12) (14) ~(17) ect. How to you know what the corresponding button press is for this stuff?
I read thru and followed the tutorial for creating/playing customs but they didnt say much as far as how to translate a Tab to a notechart. Is there a tutorial for this?
Thanks to all that has made doing this possible!

you can't really convert a tab to a note chart. the only thing you could do really is use the timings from the tab to make the chart, if the tab is in tabit/guitar pro/power tab form already. apart from that, you just need to igure out yourself what each note on the solo should map to a fret button. a general rule is to try and make the fret buttons goup when the notes of the solo go up, and down when it goes down. other than that, theres not much more advice that can be given |

Actally that makes sense and thats about what I've been doing. It just seems with fast and furious solo's that it can get real crazy real fast. For now I've been just winging it when it gets crazy like that. Seems like that what everyone else has been doing too huh?
