Is there any info on controller compatibility with the Guitar Praise guitar/game? The game is PC only BTW. _________________

No, and there won't be, unless they produce a guitar controller that can be used on GH. This thread isn't for other games that the GH/RB guitars can be used on, it's for the different controllers that can be used on GH. If someone reports that the Guitar Praise controller can be used on GH3 PC, I guess I'll add it in, but I frankly don't care to make a guide on how to play Guitar Praise w/ the GH controllers. |

Wait... does that mean there is a patch that allows you to play GH3 with the RB Strat?? |
Oh... hang on, I may have gotten excited with that last announcement. I know that LP (and any other PS3 GH guitar) is now usable on RB, can anyone confirm if the PS3 strat is usable on GH? |
I posted over on the GH community but haven't heard anything yet. _________________

About the RB strat being compatible with GH:Aerosmith for PS2, I'm having trouble getting the Tilt Sensor to work (And I have to press Select to activate Star Power). Anyone else have this problem?
My tilt sensor works adequately in Rock Band and the Track Pack vol. 1, though. |

Hey, I was doing some looking around and fell upon this, I can only hope its not true, I sent a message to acitvision about it seeing if they will conform with me about if its valid or not. Because earlier today they told me twice that they would not tell about any information about a unreleased game unless there has been a official statement from them (They told me this when I was asking them about the cross compatibility for the Wii). But if this article is true, they lied to me, I hope it's not the case.

I don't know if they've been mentioned yet.
Guitar Hero World Tour for PLAYSTATION 2 has some nice Cross-compatability branches.
I have tested and can say:
RB 1 Drums for Xbox 360: Yes
RB 1 Drums for Playstation 3: Yes
360 Xplorer (Yes, on the ps2): Yes
PS3 Les Paul w/Dongle: Yes
RB 1 Strat for Xbox 360: Yes
Basically I think it's more of just a case of "choose your weapon" and go to town. If these work, I'm quite convinenced anything will. _________________

Regarding Ion:

From NeverSoft Brian
Don't worry, the ION Rocker works fine in the Xbox 360 Title Update for GHWT. This update should be out at launch if all goes well. I think it will work with the PS3 but can't be sure because we don't have an ION kit for PS3 to test with yet.
I'll post more info on the cool additions and fixes in the TU soon.

Are the WT PS3 Drums compatable with the PS2 Rock Band?
From what I can see, PS3 and PS2 RB drums are the same. This means compatability across all WT and RB versions for both consoles. The big thing is, are PS3 and PS2 WT drums the same? If they're the same, essentially there's compatability across both consoles for all games, much like the RB drums. If not, you're severly limited, making the RB drums the much better purchase. _________________

My question is, if they're going to be cross-platform compatable, How the hell are you gonna sync up the PS3 stuff to the 360 or vise versa.....? _________________

So I used the regular search here and EWiggens google search and found nothing so dont flame me. As well Im sure this has happened to someone else so if anyone knows can you answer this for me please.
I just bought GH2 for my 360 and I was playing it today with my LP and I noticed that when my LP is tilted above a certain angle I cant use select to activate star power, but when its at a small angle I can use it. I have a very sensitive LP (which is something I will fix if I can get my LP open, i dont have a screwdriver to get it open and cant find one that thin to do it), so I was wondering if this was common.
Thanks alot for any answers. _________________
