I'll be getting this, my one of my brothers has a few guitars so I'm sure I can use one of them. Always wanted to learn but couldn't get round to lessons, my brother was gonig to teach me but I don't see him often. This seems like a good place to help me start to figure out how the damn instrument's played.

I consider myself to be a pretty good guitarist (contest that if you want, you'll probably win), and I had an idea like this about 2 months ago. And now, here it is. I'll totally buy it, and if the gameplay isn't good, I get lulz. But it'll be fun regardless.

Bash it and you're just as bad as every GH hater.

Here’s 3 Reasons why ‘Guitar Rising’ will be better than ‘Guitar Hero’ …

1. Guitar Rising uses a real guitar, not a plastic toy with coloured buttons.

2.Techniques and songs learned in Guitar Rising can be used in real life.

3. Guitar Rising is more of an educational guitar tutor than a game - so everyone serious about learning the guitar or getting even better at it, it’s right up your street

Lol, found that on the Un-official fansite

It actually looks like it would TEACH you guitar. I would definitely be interested in this since I've tried guitar before and had no luck.

This looks like it would be a fun way to get better at guitar. Of course, once I beat expert and got really good at the game (if that were to happen) I would probably just play reel GuITAR1!!!!1! by itself.

QFT.
I'd like to pick it up to practice and improve on solos, since I suck at them (I play rhythm guitar better, but versatility's never too much).

I wonder if you can import tabs for use in the game.

Looks cool, but I'd rather play my plastic guitar.
