A co-op league would be sweet. My room-mate and I would definitely be interested. _________________

I never thought of this, but sounds like it could work. Considering there talk of a full band league over at the RB forums, I think having two players should be no trouble for a league. Especially with online, this could actually work very well, even if it's less songs per week than normal.
I'm actually surprised this is the first time it's been brought up. _________________

The only thing with online coop is that star power tends to not work online (IE, when both players hit a phrase at the same time, the game counts it as one phrase hit). This would give online teams a disadvantage. |

wow, I totally agree
where has coop been league all these months?
Especially with online play this should have been thought of a long time ago, 4 songs would be excessive, however, I think it would be great, there are very few official coop optimal paths out there, so the competition could be a lot greater than expected
good job dicex14 for this obvious yet un-heard of idea |

I would think that the league organizers would argue that a rivalry would be more than sufficient to cover all co-op competitions; however, if there was enough interest they might do it.
As an aside, I would also enjoy this (too bad my bro is barely passable as an expert player ) _________________

Actually its been brought up a bunch of times. Prior to Season 7(the first GH3 League)...we played GH2 or 80's on the PS2, no online stuff. Therefore, it would make it "difficult" for some of the Co-op teams to get together each week in order to play the songs...let alone if they made the playoffs and had to get together within 3 days.
The only drawback to this idea, is that you'll end up excluding the PS2 people from the League (assuming that the team cant get together). ALSO...How would you separate the Leagues? Expert/Expert teams would have an advantage over a Expert/Hard...Medium team. It might get kind of messy.
Anyway...thats my 2 cents

the ps2 would just have to have a friend over, and that it would have to have one straight difficulty expert/expert, and hard/hard... etc. and no cross difficulty like expert/hard.
thats just my idea. _________________

I think it is a great idea too...
But maybe change the playoff system. Sometimes, 3 days is too short when you are alone... in coop play, it may be really difficult sometimes.
Another point to discuss is : Should the same player play lead/bass or can the player change depending on the songs ? _________________
