hehe:) they were certainly quicker than me moving my hands around, but why bother putting in some pretty neet solos when the song sucks:) and too much hair as mentioned before..

Dragonforce toured here in Jan, and I missed them. Theyre also playing Download for the lucky beggars :P

with the dragonforce video.....they have the potential to be a halfway decent band if they concentrate on 2 things:

1. actually making cool riffs along with the solos
2 (and this is the important one): Don't have such lame ass songwritting.

Yeah, I finaly listened to them, at least the 4 songs free from their website. The guitar is kinda fast, but what makes them sound so fast is the drumming, blast beats and double bass almost non-stop. However, if your doing that what do you do for emphisis? I think it actualy takes away from the music. Also, a lot of the speed can be atributed to the keyboardist.

I will admit their solos are good and am not taking anything away from their musical ability however, but the music itself sounds like some gamma ray or helloween, and I'd personaly rather listen to those two bands over dragonforce anyday.

if you get a chance listen to Cirith Ungol, an old band thats no longer around. "Master of the pit" is an excelent song with an amazing solo. They play simple but effective riffs and have blistering solos.
