I have two guitars: the white one that comes with GH1 and the red one that comes with GH2. Both of them have problems with the whammy bar.
When I whammy on the white guitar, it takes a split second for the game to register it, or the game doesn't register it at all.
I have a weirder problem with the red guitar. When I'm holding the strum bar down (which happens a lot for me because I alternate strum everything), and I try to whammy, the game thinks I'm strumming really fast, when I'm not strumming at all.
I wanted to make a new topic for these because most topics addressing whammy bar issues talk about how to fix limp whammy bars, and my problems are slightly different. Has anyone experienced either of these problems? Will the same rubber-band fix work for this? I want to figure out whether I can fix these problems before I open up the guitars and void the warranties. Thanks! |

Er, if you have warranties, why not just replace them? |

I would rather find a fix that lasts. I've already returned a few guitars, and I don't want to keep going back every month or two. But if there's no good way to solve these problems, I will just go back and replace them. |

I've had my 2 guitars from GH1 since launch in 11-05. Still no problems, people just abuse the wammy bar. Use it for JUST star power and you'll be fine. |

Did you even read the frackin' post? He's not talking about broken whammy bars. You know what... nearly every post you've made in this forum has been pointless. Go away. Thank you.
