The Dualshock/360Controller/WiiMote Accomplishment Thread

If you're one of those really special people that play Guitar Hero with a standard controller (Dualshock 2, 360 Controller, WiiMote, etc.) and have done great things with it, let us know! In this thread, you can post your accomplishments, ask for advice, or anything else as long as it is Guitar Hero related. All you need to do is follow Score Hero's rules. Easy enough, right?

---About Me---
Dualshock User
I got my very first Guitar Hero game (GH2) on February 2nd, 2007 in hopes of having great fun and hearing new music. I originally bought the game by itself rather than in a bundle because I didn't have the money at the time. This is why I started off a Dualshock user. When I got the GH1 bundle a month later, I was already 5*ing songs on Hard with the Dualshock and figured there was no use in trying to switch controllers. Currently, I'm pretty decent with the guitar but I am far better with the Dualshock. I'm good enough to beat any song on Expert except for 3 or 4 songs.

Edit X: This run was pure Dualshock, just to show how well I could do with it. Next time I'll swap controllers for the outro. It's not cheating, I'm just taking advantage of the fact that I can use both controllers :P

Now for Take Me Out, the only song I have less than 6* on. I'm going for an FC but I'm not so sure I can do it.

Cool... My current goal is to FC Texas Flood. My best is -2.

So close. I just checked- I got 243,000, 14th place.

I suppose I'll write up my history and stuff like that. My brother bought Guitar Hero II because a friend reccomended it to him. I didn't think it looked very fun, so I didn't bother playing. Eventually, my brother asked me to play co-op with him, but we only had one guitar. So, I ended up playing with dualshock. By the time I had the option to get a guitar, I was already easily whipping through expert career, and i was soo good I didn't think I should start all over with my skill in tha game, so I just kept playing.
I haven't really contributed to the DS community because of my innate skill of choking on everything so I don't have any especially cool FCs. I have, however, played through all 4 game's expert careers, and 5* all but ~10 of 'em total. I'm not as good as people like Jekyll of Nikki, but I like to think I'm at least a "good" player. I'm pretty creative in how I play, I usually play Guitar Hero 1 & 2 on Dualshock with lefty flip, I find it easier to hit the buttons quickly. That skill is removed in GHIII, though, because of battle mode. As stated above, my current goal is a Texas Flood FC- I keep getting so close, it's sad.

Sometime during the summer of '06 vaultitup decided to give this game 'Guitar Hero' a try. We were all hooked immediately. During the short period between that summer and the release of Guitar Hero 2 I moved my way from Playing Guitar, to playing Guitar Keyboard style, to settling on the Dualshock as my preferred choice. I managed to beat Expert with the Dualshock fairly quickly. Sometime before the release of GH2 we were looking at some of the songs that were going to be in the game. Misirlou came up and by using the power of the almighty internet it became apparent that I would never beat it using the Dualshock. Fast forward to today and I'm only 2k away from 4*ing it.

I would like to think I've done great things for the Dualshock community but this is really only the beginning.

Some of my notable accomplishments:
Guitar God Status in GH1
5* all songs but Misirlou in GH2
Sightread Guitar God Status in 80's (and later 6* every song)
5* Career Mode in GH3
First Dualshock User to Beat TtFaF (unless someone wants to prove me wrong)

Well, my turn:

I'm from Brazil, started playing in GH2, back in July/07. I've always played rhythm games, and thought GH was worth a try.
Decided to start serious after GH3, when me and my brother started a competition to clear Expert Career. From that, I think it was natural to end here in scorehero...

I have some kind of 'advantage' when playing certain songs on Dualshock, since I'm left-handed making some songs easier. I'm focused in FCs more than scores for now, making my way to 50% setlist FC (1 more to get there!) ^^

My last accomplishment was a 2.9 stars The Way It Ends pass, and a The Metal FC ^^

I'm going for the 35th FC, but still don't know which one... either Kool Thing, Paint It Black, Black Magic Woman... maybe Cities on Flame if my right hand helps on the solos ._.

I changed a lot of the first post to satisfy you guys... Did it work?

By the way: I 5-starred Bark At The Moon last night. I had ~250k and 92%. It was my first try in literaly months. All I have to now is destroy The Breaking Wheel and I'll have Guitar God status!
