Kansas City Get-Together May 24th! +possible DnD! (woot)

Hey guys, me and SuomiMetal were talking about getting together in the middle of May, around the 21st. DGP was kind enough to offer up his house to crash at, so we're going ahead and throwing out invitations to anyone who wants to come. Just let me know.

We'll have more details later once we get everything figured out, this is just preliminary.

There's a max of 10 people as well, by the way!

Is there just no one in Missouri at all or do most just not care enough to check the get-togethers sub-forum? I've seen quite a few threads get made for get-togethers in Missouri and such and they RARELY come to fruition.

Oh well, those within a reasonable distance are missing out, it's going to be a hell of a time.

Maybe the 24th (a Saturday) would be better?

Also, RE: the crashing over at thingy... I have two roommates (and their girlfriends coming and going) so the rooms are full but I have two air mattresses and a couch so this should probably be an "all-day" thing. I have room for 4 or 5 if you want to crash out overnight. Either way, it's sure to be a blast.

Let me know if you want to roll some DnD too and I'll roll up a short adventure.

Apparently the place that I'm going to move into is going to require me to leave the weekend of the get-together, so I will unfortunately not be able to make it. If either of you are able to get together before that weekend, I can very likely make it.

Buzzkill part 2: I've been working on getting into a new place for the last 2 months. It's a real fixer upper. We'll be moving at the end of June so most week-ends (and most evenings for that matter) are spent fixing the new place.

This is a good time to give a rain-check and try to reconvene at the end of summer.

I'll make it a point to make a new thread and re-invite everyone when the new space is available.

I would definitely be going if I was older. I dont think my parents would want me to go to a persons house that they dont know thats like an hour away.
