I hadn't played this song since 5-starring it, and I finally got the tempo down and figured out how to nail the BYRRBYRR part. I subsequently improved my score by 50,000, catapulting me into the top 10:
I'm sure I'll be able to top it eventually, but... yay!

| i found that once i got those scales right, the entire song becomes really easy until the solo. The solo i think is actually harder on hard than it is on expert, cuz i can almost FC the solo on expert, but have such a hard time hitting notes on hard. once i get the solo right i think i can almost get 400k. |

I don't mean to sound sassy, but if you're so good how come you haven't submitted any* scores for expert?

but as for johnson, i dont think you can get that score with only a 407 note streak, but thats just me.

Why feel like a jerk? That person is clearly lying. The only other score he submitted (with screenshot proof) is a less than spectacular BaTM hard score.
The 2nd place score is crap in my opinion as well. But..since we are on the honor system..I guess we have to put up with stuff like this.
I think most of the regulars probably acknowledge that your current 3rd place score on this song is the real #1 score....and much kudos to you for legitamately trying to beat the phony scores with a real one.

If you think a score is fake you should send a private message to JCirri. I asked him about Johnson's score a few months ago and he explained why he wouldn't remove it; Johnson had submitted several other lower scores over the course of a week or something and slowly worked his way up to that one.

Well, while I'm not sure about the validity of the score, I have to admit that there is that small chance that it is a real score and that JCirri my not be able to do anything about it.
I don't have any means of proving anything I've done, and I would be pissed if all of my scores were wiped because of the lack of proof. I understand how that would feel, and it is the sole reason that I did not suggest that something should be done about the score (unless that something is ES grinding that score to a fine powder with one of his own). |
