I'm currently beginning a project to take apart an SG controller, and put it into a 3rd party beatmania controller. :P For co-op reasons mostly ;) It'd be fun to play Bohemian Rhapsody with it =D

Pretty much this is what I plan on it doing:

10 buttons ;)
all buttons hooked up to the strumbar so you don'th ave to strum when you hit them.

1st 5 set to strum up.
2cnd 5 set to strum down.
(I may have to keep tinkering with this of coarse to get the desired effect I want.)

Essentially I want the 5 on the left for "chords" and the five on the right for your main rhtyhm parts.. So essentially expect alot of 3 button chords and stuff like that, but playing just 2 notes of the chord with the left and 1 with the right. :P It makes sense to me.

Anywho, the wammy bar will be a little turny pitch nob I'm adding in xD kinda like the oens you find on some synthesizers. =D Should be a fun project. We'll see =D *

*Anyone have any idea of what to use the DJ turntable on the controller for? Any fun ideas?*

Interesting.... sounds like a great idea but I couldn't see myself using it because I've been playing the piano for 9 years and a little 10 key thing just doesn't suffice for me (Thats why I like guitar hero because I don't play the guitar ) . But if you get it working, post some pictures of it.

And maybe... and I mean MAYBE; if you get some Chopin etudes or winters wind on it then that would be pretty cool.

Good luck!

You might get some silly glitches when it comes to chords, though... Good luck!
