meh a new game will be a reason to buy a new LP. Then I'll have a select button that doesn't stick, and I'll actually be able to squeeze

Does everyone always focus on the negative in everything? We're getting 2 new games in one month, and there are complaints about 1 DLC track all month...even from people that can't get ANY...

As far as the Calendar itself is concerned, I think its awesome. Im sure everyone here appreciates the sharing of information, thanks for that, Chris.

i know crying about dlc now is kinda pointless but people were kinda duked into thinken gh3 was releasing tons of dlc instead weve gotten what 5 or 6 packs and thats it people were hoping for around 50 songs by now instead we get in 7 months what rockband has in a week

Not meaning to be a dick or anything, but why don't you play them before you judge them?

First off, no offence taken as that is a good question.
Common sense tells me I can't play Guitar Hero: On Tour because of my inability to fret with my right hand, and I'm sure everyone agrees that shouting "STAR POWER" or blowing into the mic is a really dumb way of activating star power.
You are also given the option to press a face button or hit a star power icon on the screen. However, I do see these as problems, and I agree. The trigger button would have been a better star power button (as your thumb rests near there when you play)

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith is just an add-on. Basicaly Guitar Hero 3 with a bunch of Aerosmith songs and such.
Thats is not exactly a bad thing. Guitar Hero 80's was exactly the same thing, but from my experience, I loved 25 of the 30 songs. It was well worth it for me. The deal breaker on Aerosmith is how well the songs play, and that is why I think GHA should be given a chance. If I didn't give Rock the 80's a chance, I would have missed out on some awesome songs. Try to rent it/borrow it from a friend, I would say.

But then you'd all be like: What?! Only one game this year?! Neversoft/Activision can't win...

I'd rather spend money on 1 epic game then on 2 crappy games and 1 boarderline-decent game (The create-a-song feature as well as the game itself is bound to have a bunch of bugs and glitches, something that wouldn't be possible if there was more time spent on it).
Actually, Neversoft is only working on Aerosmith and GH4. Vicarious Visions is doing GH On Tour. As for GH:A, the engine code straight from GH3, sans a 5 person band modification. The bulk of the work is polishing with new models, some new mocap, maybe a few engine tweaks here and there, and song charting. A good team could finish that in a few months. Granted, those months could have been spent on GHWT. Considering they have most likely been working on this since November, I don't see this being a big problem. Neversoft had less time when they made GH3.

Just when I thought my love for calenders and Guitar Hero was already at it's maximum, you guys over at Neversoft combine the best of both worlds and end up creating a clusterfuck of awesomeness.

Hey, it reminds me of that one Spongebob episode where Spongebob and Patrick go into space with Sandy's rocket.

Spongebob: Hey, you got your Guitar Hero... IN MY CALENDER!!!

*They both laugh

Patrick: Hey, you got your Calender... IN MY GUITAR HERO!!!

*They both laugh

This is a great idea, and it would work great as a wallpaper, but could we get a larger size? It's not even 800x600, at least a minimum of 1024 would be good.

What do the Launches mean for Gh A and Gh: WT? Does that mean they're coming out at that time, or does that mean they are being sent to QA, or what?

That's pretty cool Chris, thanks for sharing that with us!

Oh and also what the other Europeans said, will the tournaments apply to us too?

Cheers.

Wow, whoever made that did a terrific job!

Though, your gonna have to go into detail about what some of these other events are.
Like BIG TICKET TOURNAMENT? and other stuff.
