RockBand?

I was wondering if anyone else has it. Well i bought it to night for 107 dollars got it home put it together and started playing it. And then all of a sudden the guitar quit working and i dont know why. I put brand new battires in it and it still wont come on. To tell you the truth i dont think i like rockband as much as i do guitar hero. I was wondering if anyone else has had problems out of the guitar for rock band?. I'm sending it off to get a new one.
