Thats really weird that FoF would lag on a computer like that...
Because it runs with no lag on ERUPTION on my computer, which is only pentium 4, 2.4 gh.
and i only have 512 ram.

The one thing I would recommend is searching for the 'Alarian Mod 2.7'...it gives you the option to put a blank background, which REALLY helps. Especially for me

Im going to say what blackfate says ALL THE TIME over at fof-ff.

It is most likely that you will have an NVIDIA, ATI or INTEL graphics card, so go to their website and get the correct graphics drivers.)
4. Desktop color quality set to 32bit?
(Desktop > Right Click > Properties > Settings > Color Quality)
5. Any firewall, anti virus software?
6. Anything in your log file?
(Start > Run > %appdata%/fretsonfire/fretsonfire.log)

If you have something like this, and have the latest graphics drivers, and it still isn't working, then the only option would be to get a graphics card.

New error:

So I got FoF to work right...but for some reason when I go to play a song...like after I select the difficulty the screen turns black like it's loading...but then the whole program just closes out of nowhere!

Help?
