Do you have to buy stuff with real money to be really good with this? If not, ill consider seeing how it is. _________________

Generally? No. Buying in-game points with real money definitely helps, since it allows you access to items that are mildly better than the best clothing available solely by Pang (the game's currency). The level requirement is higher for some of the better clothing purchased with Pang as opposed to points too. There are definite benefits to buying points, but they're by no means necessary purchases. _________________

Their download blows chunks. I've mirrored the installer for the time being; I'll leave it up as long as I can without skirting on my monthly bandwidth limit (which is roughly 80 downloads of that file).
I've never spent any real money in the game, and I'm pretty decent. :p _________________

Ok, thanks for that. Its downloading now. And downloading this is just like using the installer to download the game and all of its files?
EDIT: Also, you mentioned Season 4? Whats this about seasons? Like a seasonal Tournament or what? _________________

The whole season thing just refers to what version the game is in, more or less. This is basically version 4.0 of Pangya. _________________

This reminds me, I should try playing this again once I'm back at my friend's place in a few days <_<
It'll be like my first time playing all over again! _________________

Their stupid downloader just produces this file, eventually, if you're lucky. _________________

If you ever played Gunbound, it's the same way. It's not necessary to use real money, but it's the only way to get access to some items that aren't possible to buy with the game's currency. _________________

Ahhh I love this game, no matter how much I may rage at it. I still suck at it, but it's still so much fun.
A question to anyone who knows: How does the ranking system go? Is it:
Rookie
Beginnner
Junior
Senior
Amateur?
Or do you switch Senior and Amateur around? Did they add new ranks in Season 4, cause I vaguely remember seeing new ones. |
