i don't know, but i do think that you must have a adapter that recognizes the difference between a PS1 and a PS2-controller, and as far as i know, hte radioshack adapter doesn't. If you try to plug a regular ps2-controller in, it works just fine, right.
about the fix: since the ps3-software is all linux-based, it isn't impossible a fix will come out. but i'm not sure it'll work with your adapter anyhow. |

There is supposedly a Nyko Play Adapter that supports Guitar Hero, but can't seem to find it anywhere. I was planning on taking a PS3 controller and putting its contents inside the SG, but I ran into problems. I need help as well. |

me and my friends hooked up a couple of ps3's and working on a software-solution for the usb-support. we don't have that much time to work on it, but hopefully as soon as possible, coming with reports as we progress |

we ran into problems with our software-solution of the problem. go and see if you can find the Nyko-adapter somewhere on the internet, ebay or something, think that'll be a lot easier.. |

Using GH guitars with USB adaptors is problematic for two separate reasons, both of which must be overcome in order to have the guitar fully functional. First of all, look for an adaptor that can handle dance pads (either by default or with a "dance code") - this will map the strum bar to buttons instead of to an analog stick. Secondly, the game only accepts guitars that appear as PS1 controllers, not PS2. This issue is only with GH2 - GH1 works fine using guitars built from PS2 controllers. |

Seems like pelican will be coming out with one to.
Hopefully they come out soon. Then I can finally put away my ps2. |

Hopefully Nyko will come out with an adapter for the 360 too. I don't see why they wouldn't. |
