From the drum charts I've seen, it looks promising, but Guitar/Bass we could probably do with out.

And has anyone seen any vocal tracks from the game?

All I can say is that I've been talking to Steve Ouimette and he did 40 guitar tracks for the game. He also said that they added a few masters he believes.

The only thing i'm pissed about is that this game got Holy Wars before all the other music games . That would be the only reason to play it for me.

Here's my 2 cents for this game:

First of all its $50 instead of $60 so it's not so bad.

GHWT doesn't come out for another 12 days so this could be what I'll play to use up the time.

Some of the songs = orgasm.

Achievements seem fun and might turn out to be difficult to get some depending on how hard some of the songs are.

So basically I guess I'm saying...Why the hell not. Give the game a chance before you start criticizing it.

This. I'm wasting $60(or is it 50?) just for this song. LOL

Me too! I don't know why... it just looks like it'll be fun from the hours of streaming I watched yesterday. I'll most definitely be picking it up at some point though, just to fool around with the new score system.

From what I've seen, the challenges are amazing and really well thought-out. Play a song starting on Medium, the difficulty changes as you go. Play a song, the better you do, the faster the scroll speed is, etc. I find those really interesting and amusing.

After initially fucking me up entirely I have come to the conclusion that this top-down interface is superior for drums, along with the separate note for bass. It helps, really. Also, if you're good on drums, don't buy the game. I want to keep all my first place scores.

Am I the only one that thinks this game looks like Sega Columns? Vertical scrolling is just not for me. I keep trying to rotate the notes with the D-pad.

Actually, Ouimette himself posted about doing work on Rock Revolution in one of the original Rock Rev threads.

He's the Fonz.
Maybe he's Canadian.

This game looks awful. This game is going to be over-hyped, and will wind up being used as a coaster. Or a Frisbee.

Sorry for being so negative, this game seems like it's Konami's effort to get into a popular game market, which will probably fade out within 3-5 years.
Not all canadians say eh? And as in for the topic, This game will fail moar then when captain hook tried to wipe out bird shit off his eyes.

Seriously, With all the games we got right now (Gh, RB), This game will blow.

But you know what would be funny. With all the shitty faulty instruments in rock band and guitar hero world tour. That when this game would be released it would be really perfect.

Well if that happens, And if it outsells either rock band or guitar hero.

I will seriously run around the town naked while smacking my balls with a frying pan.

That game will be ass.

Sorry for being negative, But that's how it is.
