Hi Guys!

I've been tossing around the idea of a get-together for a while now. I've finally been able to put one together.

Where: Woodbridge, Ontario (20 mins north of Toronto, 5 mins from Canada's Wonderland)

When: Friday, August 22nd to Monday, August 25th

Come join in on a weekend of Guitar Hero, Rock Band, BBQ'ing, Swimming, drinking (if you're 19+ >_>) and loads of fun

Saturday will also coincide with No1ButU's organized trip to Canada's Wonderland which should prove to be a blast.

The dates are pretty much set in stone due to the Wonderland trip already being organized so hopefully everyone's schedule's fit conveniently.

EDIT:

I just wanted to give everyone an update. Everything is still a go for the weekend - its gonna be a lot of fun!

I'm not going to force anyone to bring anything but I would really appreciate people bringing anything they can including food, snacks, drinks (alcohol will be permitted although I want people to understand that I'm not endorsing any underage drinking - at the same time, I'm not going to be a babysitter - be responsible :P)

There will be no illegal substances allowed in my house, any smokers can do so outside.

I have:

Equipment:

I have one available projector screen + (if my brother allows it) one 40" (I think) LCD TV + my computer (2 x 22" LCD screens) So we can technically have 3-4 setups going although I'd rather not use the computer.

1 PS2 with GH80s, GH2, GH1
- one sg. (bring more if you want to play ps2)

1 360 with GH2, GH:A, GH3, and Rock Band
- one explorer
- two wireless LPs
- one strat
- one full drum set (one set of extra pads)
- one microphone

For ps2 customs, I have one disc made - BRING MORE if you have them!

Food and Beverages:

I will try to supply some basic things like hot-dogs and burgers but really if you can try to provide anything it would be a huge help cause it looks like we're going to have a large turnout!

BYOB definitely - no drinks provided

Sleeping Accommodations:

Everyone is welcome to sleep here Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday night (if you need to leave Monday morning). I would recommend bringing sleeping bags and pillows as floors are hardwood and I just don't have enough mattresses and couches for everyone. Space is plentiful - don't worry.

BRING SWIMWEAR - There is a pool (and its clean >_>)

Also, I have my own car so if someone is near the Ottawa-Gatineau,region, feel free to ask me for a ride.

Hey, finally, a get together near me! I’m literally a 5 minute drive from Woodbridge as I type this from work >_>

Anyways, I finish work on August 22nd, so I may or may not be going away with a bunch of buddies for the last week before school. If that doesn’t happen, I will most definitely be able to come to this. It should be noted that I’m a complete wimp when it comes to heights, and roller coasters make me want to cry and blow my brains out, so I’ll probably skip out on Wonderland =P I’m down for getting hammered and whatnot afterwards though. I’ll definitely try to make it out to one of the days if I’m around, so put me on the “possible” list, if that’s ok with you

Finally, a Toronto Get together. Somebody should notify Phr34k.

Anyway.. if anybody wants customs.. and if Mithin is fine with it.. I could bring my PC and 22" computer monitor with GH3 customs. Somebody would need to have a 360 Xplorer though, my red is broken.

Also: if you need me to buy some burgers/dogs/food, let me know, we should all pitch in stuff.

as long as everyone's smoking is kept separate from the party, I dont really care whats rolled in your paper. Nothing on my property though. I hope thats cool with everyone.
