Ok I took apart my X-plorer to fix my strummer which i did, but my whammy fell out in the process and now its not in its socket thing and the white squares and little arm things are off of it. Now I swear that this is way more complicated than it needs to be and its beyond me some reason. Can someone show me how to re-attach my whammy bar?

I highly recommend you solder it. Soldering irons these days cost next to nothing at your local hardware store.
