Hmmm well I'm pretty much free for the next few weeks (all day long lol) so really whatever fits your schedule
I live in North Carrollton but I drive a lot so I can really meet anywhere (most people prefer dallas so I drive down there everyday)
Edit: After looking at a calendar how does Aug 16th sound? time can still be decided
Is that too early or you think it'll work?

I can probably make something work on a weekend after I go back to school in Huntsville (the 18th). At this point I can't guarantee anything, though.

Hah, I just moved away from the Carrollton area about a week ago to elsewhere in the DFW area. I used to live near the intersection of Marsh and Keller Springs.
Anyway, there are a lot of good Guitar Hero/Rock Band players in the Dallas/Fort Worth area that would be willing to meet up for a gathering of some sort. I was hoping there'd be some kind of get-together before the summer ended and most people were busy with college again; I would be able to host something small at my place perhaps.
However, I am also willing to drive to wherever people want to meet up. I am also available pretty much whenever. People post your suggestions and availability and we'll figure something out.
MrsLlama: in the meantime, if you play either GH3 or Rock Band on 360 over XBL, then feel free to add me and we can play sometime. My gamertag is powfordamage |

Marsh and keller springs? that's prob 10 minutes away from my house.
Yea I was checking out some quake con stuff and i was surprised at just how good some of the people that live around here are.
Worst off we could use my house but it's pretty poorly setup for guitar hero
I have a PS2 with 2 guitars on a 23 inch tv squeezed between a wall and a pool table
a 102 inch projector (no good due to the lag)
and a 42 inch tv downstairs that we can never get to work with guitar hero
so somewhere with space and multiple working tv's would be nice
I do have a 360 so go ahead and add me gamertag: MrsLlama
but unfortunately I was too cheap to go buy gh3 for it since i already had it for ps2
i did have COD4 though...till it broke...
I'd be willing to lend my 360 or ps2 to the gathering though if needed

Depending on the size of the gathering, I can have people over to my apartment. It's a one bedroom place and it wouldn't be all that good for more than one setup. It would comfortably handle six people for sitting around and playing games on one TV.
I have a clubhouse thing here at my apartment complex that might be an option, but I don't even know what the layout is like inside; I have yet to check it out. If that seems like a really good option, then I'll see if it's available and post those details. |

Do you mean the 23rd? If so, that would probably be perfect because class doesn't actually start until the 25th.

but i could do the 23rd as well
blob, jw2, other people yet to arrive at this forum, what do you guys think?
or we could do 2 gatherings if that's too far away or whatever really. always fun to play with other people

lol I'm not sure what you're getting at....Austin's like multiple hours away from Dallas
it's basically the equivalent distance from New York City To Washington DC
