How the hell does this relate to the topic in anyway?

Spam FTL

Edit: I guess I should probably put something relating to the topic also lmao

Well this settles the thread earlier about adding extra hyperspeed to GH2 - no one could confirm if it was legal or not. Glad it isn't.

So lets say i make a custom gh2 disk, I add an original gh2 song to my set list. The interface and input are both left untouched? It is not in a song slot that would alter the HO-PO like x-stream.

I would assume still shouldn't submit a score like this, but knowing is half the battle and that is why i ask.

sounds like ppl are being dumb now. anyways do put down that using a pedal is cheating along with any mods (not repairs) of any type.

also
modding ur guitar with a killswitch or with autostrumming frets is cheating

and

switching from controller/guitar/and vice versa during a song is cheating

ie. use a controller for ttfaf intro and switch to guitar...

You should probably mention something about how PFO scores are handled. Players here are not allowed to submit PFO scores for songs that they cannot pass in single player without SP. This won't really be a problem for most players on most songs, but for songs like One, TTFAF, or CoP a player's score could be greatly inflated by the inherent no-fail function of PFO.

But they don't.

Or they do, but decide to post thread after thread after thread that shout "Hey, we know about the cute little stickies at the top of the page, but we'll ignore them and procede with the delicate process of making ass holes of ourselves!"

This is one thing ive been wondering about for a while... (I'm assuming we can ask questions here, and once an issue is reolved, it could be added to the OP.)

Is playing on a modded guitar, but not using the mods considered cheating?

My logic says you aren't using a mod, so it isn't cheating, but I can see how people would think: Guitar is modded, CHEATING

EXAMPLE: You mod a killswitch into your sg, but for all scores you post on scorehero, you are only playing with the frets and strumbar.

You say that having someone else hold the button is cheating.

What if your playing coop and your partner held down a button for you? Like in the intro to ttfaf.

Pausing in the middle of the song just because you're tired is cheating. Man up.

Is looking in a mirror while on lefty flip considered cheating? I know it is for the leagues but whether it is for uploading scores…

This is a very important issue that needs to be addressed. I personally agree with you, but I could see both sides of the issue. Especially since -- in the defense of compulsive-pausers -- it passes the litmus test for legality (same input produces the same results), making pausing a tough one to classify.

For leagues yes but for submitting scores no

This will probably be debated but im going to disagree partly because i do this to wipe my fingers. since you aren't changing the input of the game at all, this isnt really cheating. yes, its giving you help, but so does hyperspeed.
