Cedar Point Summer 2009 Get-Together ALL SH'ers wanted(plan)

Well, this idea was originally spurred up by Graf and a couple others, but I decided I'd go ahead and start up a thread(ironically after the Six Flags get-together). But still, since I start school up next Tuesday, my hopes for a road trip are 0. So therefore, this is the planning stages of the Summer 2009 Cedar Point ScoreHero Get-Together! Depending on how many people are interested, I'll have a poll up shortly? To see when exactly we will do this...

So post some ideas, and don't be shy! There aren't any dumb ideas.

Well like I said, all this is for now is more in depth planning. When I get alot more responses, THEN I'll put up a poll for when to go. And don't worry, I'll think of somethin to come get you guys from Bayville and Toms River. Always pull something off like that

I totally agree with graf and thin that this would be epic if we can go (hopefully). This would be another legendary mark in score hero history.

If it's planned out well enough in advance, with optimal scheduling flexibility... and EVERYONE REMEMBERS THE CONTACT PHONE NUMBER...

Then I'd definitely be down... but I'd also need to save some money... cause I'm not gonna drive to Ohio for one day, I'd get a cheap hotel for the night I think...

I'm most likely in. And by that time, I'll probably be driving, so I wouldn't not have to rely on Graf...

Random question: how long do you guys think this thread will stay on the front page? How many useless posts can we fill this with? We can't really discus anything of merit this early. >____>

I started this one out just to go ahead and have the planning done, but if enough people decided to post and keep it up longer, I'll change the (plan out and put Official Thread... So basically until we get to about page 10-15 and it stays FP for a while, I'll go ahead and make this the official

My suggestion: Start collecting email addresses. It's infinitely easier to communicate via email than scorehero's private message system.

A) You have a limited inbox on scorehero.
B) You can't send to multiple people.
C) Some people just don't check their Inbox.

So yeah, make an email group in gmail or something to spam everybody when the time gets closer and give a link back to this thread. I'd definitely be interested but in 8-10 months time I'm not going to remember to look here.

Now I'd give my email address here to start buuttt I don't like posting my email publicly, so I would say to get them via PM. I'll check the thread a little later to see what your thoughts on this are. I don't exactly want to suggest that people start spamming your inbox prematurely.

Then again, maybe JC will put it BACK on the front page once it's coming closer to "go time".

I would be up for this, since I live about an hour away. I also organize tournaments in Sandusky at a gaming store called The Hero Zone. Perhaps we could include something there as well.

I live in eastern MA so...I'm pretty far away from this. But I REALLY want to come with you guys. I'll try and make a special attempt to get there. I love Cedar Point, and I've never been before.
