This morning, I woke up, and said to myself "Wheres my Dreamcast!?"
Found it, and first game I found was Crazy Taxi...and am I glad I did. I just realized how good/fun this game is. The music is excellent, (IMO) never gets repetative and goes perfectly with the game. The gameplay is simple and fun.
I remember searching forever, and to no avail, for Crazy Taxi 2. Was it better than the first one?
Anyone else play either game for the DC? GC? _________________

I still have my DC, and Crazy Taxi... but I haven't played it, or even set up the DC, for quite a while now. But since you've mentioned it, I'm probably going to have to play it later today... I love that game! Never tried CT2 though. _________________

CT2 is fun, albeit WAY too easy compared to CT1. CT1 is more entertaining in the long run, but CT2 has stuff where you have a jump button for your damn taxi, which is all sorts of awesome. :P _________________

I seem to remember the soundtrack had a Bad Religion song on it (might be mistaken with Tony Hawk, but I think both had them). I loved that game. I should hook up my DC sometime soon. _________________

The two artists I remember on the first CT soundtrack are Bad Religion and The Offspring.
In fact...they may have been the only artists, just with multiple songs. <_< _________________

Yep, the Offspring and Bad Religion were the only two artists, with only two songs apiece in the main game. Though the menus had a loop from another Bad Religion song (I think it was theirs, could have been Offspring's).
I thought the first Crazy Taxi was much better than the second one, I still own both, though I have no desire to hook up my dreamcast (which is sitting under my desk here at work!) to play them. |

My dreamcast is hidden somewhere near my Nintendo. This game was the near greatest game on my Dreamcast. I always got S ranks and beat all those damn extras. _________________

CT was awesome. Once it hit CT 3 I got bored of it. I only enjoyed the 1st and 2nd of the CT series. |

You all do know they made a Crazy Taxi for PS2 right... not just the dreamcast?
Anyway I have it and that was a great game. |

Yeah, but Dreamcast had it first (after the arcades, of course). Until Sega gave up on the DC, Crazy Taxi was one of the best reasons to own one. _________________
