So I was playing some GHII the other day and the phone rang. I was standing up without the strap on and I just dropped my SG and it landed in the wooden corner of the chair I usually play on. Now the green and red buttons don't work. I opened up my SG and took a look. I look at the fret circuit board and nothing seemed wrong. So I fired up my PS2 and went into Heart-Shaped Box in practice mode and touched a screwdriver onto the wire contacts on the motherboard. I got the Y, B, and O frets to work, but not the G and R. The wiring from the fret circuitboard to the motherboard looks ok, so I can't think of another explanation. Can anyone help me out here? I'll get pics if needed.
And, do you think I could just replace the buttons with solo buttons? Or should I just get another SG? |

A wire or the solder snapped when you dropped it I'm guessing. Get some pics and I'll compare them with mine as I have my SG open at the moment for painting. I'll get some pics up as soon as possible _________________

That'll teach you to stand up without your strap-on... |
