That's how I feel about Metal Gear Solid. All of Harry-Gregson Williams' stuff is through the roof amazing, but of course, it's his take on the main themes that truly blow me away. My favorite is probably the one from MGS2.

I love SMG's musical score (Bowser Battle) , and technically, all musical compositions, video game or otherwise, are played on instruments :p. But still Super Smash Bros. Melee Theme on Piano

IMO, this music theme is one of the best "video game tunes" I have ever heard. the rest of the music in this game is really good as well, but for me this tune stands out from the rest.
im a big fan of the LoZ tracks, as well as the Super Smash Brothers Melee tracks. (dont have Brawl yet, but Im looking forward to the music).
ill have to listen to some of the final fantasy tunes in this thread. never played the games, but u never know.....

I actually listen to a lot of soundtracks. Hell, I'm listening to the soundtrack of Command + Conquer: Red Alert right now!

I liked the music in Chibi-Robo...like how if you stopped moving the music would stop...I found that to be quite entertaining
