edit: I guess I misread what I linked.

But I believe DJ Hero is supposed to go into the other Music Games forum.

It looks fun, and I guess they found a way to cover up swears without killing the song.

Huh? I don't see the trailer in that topic?

EDIT: Ninja edit! Nevermind then.

Can't say that I'm buying. This just doesn't seem like a good idea.

There's only three buttons? Won't this be really easy or am I missing something? That interface is awesome though.

Also Eminem and Jay-Z? Damn, nice.

"A limited edition comes with the rappers' exclusive new greatest-hits CDs, possibly including previously unreleased tracks, plus an advanced version of the controller, a DJ stand and metal traveling case. Jay-Z and Eminem will serve as consultants to Activision and the game's developer, FreeStyleGames"

Wow.

Why not?

But I'm getting more excited by this game the more I dig through the trailer and articles.

This could either be really good or... Really good. Hope for Role Model or The Way I Am.

Based on that pic, it would appear as though the record would be turning counter-clockwise to get the notes down... pfft.

I think Scratch is going to be a much better game. It might not have the same "Star Power", but it seems like it's going to be more realistic.

Isn't Scratch basically hitting 5 buttons to match an on-screen notechart?

How is that "realistic"?

I really hope SH doesn't begin tracking DJ Hero news, scores, etc. It would only sully the community. This game is for gangsters and rap superstars and features repetitive, talentless music.

Its going to be the Def Jam of rhythm games.

Wow. What a stereotype. Be more considerate, instead of ignorant. DJ'ing is far more than "for the gangsters and rap superstars".
