Everyone's forgetting the real way. Contrary to popular belief, dropping your pants onstage actually does deploy star power. Either that or I made a complete ass of myself at my last tournament. |

Forever Young.
It makes me realize that I won't be young forever and death is an inevitability. |

"Alive" and "Black", both by Pearl Jam.
Tears. Lots of them. _________________

Alive is about sexual abuse.
Also, the only one that's ever really done that for me is Bent by Matchbox Twenty, if you don't count Spiderwebs by No Doubt, but that one's only because it reminds me of someone.
Oh, and a lot of you will "wtf" at this one, but Prequel to the Sequel by BTBAM; read the lyrics, and yes I'm serious. _________________

Was just the first two, decided to do Saturdays as well. | Serious advice now: No-one likes indecision in their work, so find what you like that you're even remotely good at, and stick with it. Don't flit from one thing to another, because that just smacks of a large lack of determination and drive. And people don't like you for that, and won't remember you for it. I mean, I get that you have a plucky spirit and a willingness to try new things, but there's a limit, man. | I might knock it down to just Thursday and Friday. |

I mean, if you study the lyrics and that's really the only thing you take from the song, then sure. I suppose the song can break you down... But it's such an upbeat and epic song. I've never seen anybody look close to sad while listening to that song, if anything it's more of a song that brings you up. _________________

I've never been made sad by a song or ever wanted to cry while listening, but The Mantle by a band called Agalloch makes me space the fuck out and I get lost sometimes when I listen to that album. Atmospheric like crazy.
Also, Selkies: The Endless Obsession is the most beautiful song I've ever heard in my life. It doesn't make me cry though. _________________
