Alrighttt, time for an update me thinks.

As the Australian representative for Guitar Hero at WCG, I'd like to say congrats to everybody that went over, it was an amazing time. Thanks UKOG-monkey for your copy of GH5 as well

Within 11 days of playing Guitar Hero 5, I've racked up 84/85 FCs on the game, with a couple of high-ranking scores.. 2nd on Xbox for The Spirit of Radio, good score on Scatterbrain. A couple of days ago I managed two -1 runs on 21st Century Schizoid Man in a row, with one of them landing me 1st place on Xbox/2nd place global without an FC.. I wonder if I would have taken 1st global if I had FCed. =\

Other update is that I now have my GH3 disc back in time for the holidays and will be working on TTFAF a lot more.. maybe RaBl if I feel up to it as well. I'm scoring consistently 750/800k and I think I've improved a lot overall.. 717k on Devil Went Down To Georgia in a PFO against a friend today; beat my old high-score by 50k or so. Look forward to posting some more achievements soon.

I think I've outdone all of my expectations to the highest score I could achieve on TTFAF. I still screwed up some spots that I would normally hit, like you rock tapping

parts of solos, etc. but this is getting up to about my limit without really sitting down for a day and practicing each part individually.

Holy crap, I'm having a good day. After 5 chokes in mosh solo and 1 choke in fast strumming at the end, finally FCed F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X

So that leaves Raining Blood, TTFAF, and One. Tips would be muchly appreciated on all 3 songs. =]

Well, after finally hitting 800k on TTFAF, (800,062. I ticked over on the final note after screwing up the ending tapping.) I decided to start working properly on Take This Life, and figured out fairly easily how to hit the downwards chord things in the verses/intro etc. After choking on a 1598NS right at the end and screaming fairly loudly, I finally sat down again this morning and FCed it! ^_^

So next on my list is FCPREMIX. Any tips for hitting the aggro part?? =\ its really the only thing I can't hit.

Thought I'd finally start up an accomplishment thread with this FC! After about 4 chokes in the same spot of the solo, I managed to escape that and not choke in the outro chorus. My hands are still shaking as I type this

The only FCs I have left now are One, TTFAF, Raining Blood, FCPREMIX, and Take This Life. Gonna start work on the last 2 when I get over this FC =]

nice man ttl is a sexy fc...try using the hammer ons in the aggro part thats how i fcd it.

Well I guess my best bet is that Raining Blood is next best to do.

Nice job on TTfaf dude. 800k just doesn't seem to register in my brain... I just wish for 700k.

But seriously, I had been watching your progress from time to time, seeing you enter scores into SH on the front page. I'm not too surprised by just how quickly you've notched up 84/85 FCs already, as you are indeed a beast as I've witnessed first-hand. Awesome job Joel!
