For those of you have have seen the chart for this on youtube, is this song possible for a human to pass? Or 5 star for that matter? If you've seen the chart, I don't think i need to explain why I would be wondering this.

Well, seeing as how it had to be played on a real kit to record it, I'm sure it's humanly possible to play that fast. _________________

Most definitely possible.
especially since gh's engin actually lets you hit things that are close together, and has it charted as double bass. Playing this song in fake bass actually made it harder than it should have been <_<
You get two feet going in rhythm and can keep it going, it's much better than having random breaks <_< _________________

It's a lot slower than you might think. They're actually 8th notes at 210 bpm which translates to 16ths at 105 bpm, which is slower than any number of Metallica or other Expert + songs. The faster part has 50% more bass (so the equivalent of 16ths at 157 bpm), still not faster than quite a few songs. It's more about endurance than anything.
To answer the question, yes it is very passable. Once you're in the green it's easy to stay there even if you're overhitting or breaking combo constantly like I do because I suck at double bass. My only red moment is the outro.
So basically just because it's a wall of purple doesn't mean it's impossible. _________________

In my opinion it's not even close to being as hard as other notable expert+ songs (aka, TTFAF, War Ensamble, Dyer's Eve, etc). As long as you can keep a steady beat you'll pass it/5star it easily. |

That's pretty slow. I'm pretty sure you meant 16th notes at 210 BPM and 32nd notes at 105 BPM.
Out of curiosity, how many notes does the faster part have? _________________

Nope, it's definitely 8ths at 210. The faster part is 8th triplets at 210 BPM. The solos are idklol _________________

Well, in Rock Band they're 16th notes at ~105 BPM and it has been FC'd, so I assume they're twice as fast in GHVH, and that would be 16th notes at 210 BPM, if anything. _________________

The Rock Band chart of this actually skips literally hundreds of notes...and this charts it perfectly like real drums.
It really is about 15 hits per second, but i havn't played this quite yet, but 15 HPS is for real drums |

No need to assume when the video link in the OP clearly shows that the bass hits are the same speed as the RB chart for a vast majority of the song, the key difference being that, in those parts, the GH chart is just a stream of notes whereas the RB chart is in groups of three. _________________

Sorry. My Internet connection doesn't allow me to watch videos. _________________

thats just adding in an additional bass hit where the break used to be in RB chart
so its most likely actually easier because no breaks, so as long as you can pass the outro then the song would probably not only be possible, but possible with 1 foot, i think i could do it 1 foot but it would be the last song of the day for me since my ankle would be paralyzed for a few hours after attempting it. add another foot and that chart is easier to pass than the RB non X+ version even if you can't keep combo. also omg easy intro now. |

Out of curiosity, how many notes does the faster part have? | It's 8th notes at 210 BPM (7 NPS) in the verse, and 8th note triplets in the chorus (10.5 NPS). The bursts are 16ths (14 NPS). I'm not that great, and I can get to the Monster Drum Fill. _________________

This song's being blown way out of proportion IMO, it's not nearly as bad on me as war ensemble or dyers eve is. |
