hmm, im not familiar with the postal service in france but im assuming your problem is that you dont have royal mail?
the staff on the activision helpline for this kind of stuff are EXTREMELY helpfull and im sure they can do something for you, maybe giving you a prepaid shipping label for a french friendly postal service that will pick it up directly from your house. _________________

Everyone's been having turntable problems. I've been having button problems. I've had to take apart my turntable THREE times now for buttons getting stuck. Sometimes I get angry and hit my controller (bad IIDX habit, but the IIDX controller can take it). What holds the DJ Hero buttons up is a small piece of stiff wire and if you hit the controller hard enough, it dislodges this wire and your button goes down and doesn't pop back up. =( In fact, I have to fix it again here in a bit. =\ Irritating. |

So finally my controller has issues.
I'll hit the red button, but it won't always detect the hit.
If I rewind fast enough it'll press trigger a green/blue/red hit.
The turntable is off level.
Everything else is pretty fine though :P
Oh boy the buttons suck. _________________

Well, I finally sent my turntable back to Activision. I hope I'll get my new one quickly, it's now more than two weeks since I last played... |

Just as a note both my replacement DJ Hero controllers are still fully functional from a month after replacing. Thumbs up Activision! |

Just to get an idea, for people who sent their controller back to Activision using RMA, how long did it take before you receive the new one?
Activision received my controller on the 11th (sent the 8th), and the RMA status still doesn't give me any tracking number.
Thanks! |

if your in the UK and i presume EU aswell, you will NOT get a tracking number, but it does come by courier and it comes pretty damn quick, i got mine back within a week of posting it to them. _________________

Here's two problems I've had since I got the game on release day:
Rewinding sometimes breaks combo. It seems to be random when it happens.
During fast scratches (first noticed on My Name Is/Loser) if I have a rewind stored it will activate. this is really annoying >_>
Other than that, it works fine. |

Gah, the game is completely unplayable for me...
I can't keep a combo on scratch sections because the buttons get randomly pressed (no, I'm not pressing them! :P) and rewinds just kill my multiplier. All the time. I can't get an exchange either because I've lost my goddamn receipt.
Sucks as well, I've been getting back into the game recently |

The buttons on mine didn't work some hits when I was trying to calibrate.
I've also had the rewind combo breaker problem as well.
It's a not a horrible problem for me right now, considering I'm not planning to play it competitively, but it's something I hope will be fixed with DJ Hero 2. _________________

Geese idk how you and other people got so unlucky.
A bit of info that could help:
I was playing this on an HD TV and had huge calibration issues, and the rewind combo break problem. Coming home for xmas and having to use a normal tube tv solved both problems, when I thought it was just a broken controller. _________________

Just thought i would post my small rant here.
I now fucking hate Activision forever until they step up their instrument quality. My turntable over-scractches DURING SCRATCHES. I mean seriously, THIS is when you know you should learn to make a good quality instrument. No, it didn't do this shit when i rewinded, but DURING scratch patterns. Thanks to This shitty product, I know have a 100% Over-scratch on Jukebox Hero / DJ Hero (4:15).
[sarcasm]
Thanks Activision, I <3 you...

My controller has been working perfectly. No over scratches, no rewind bug, the crossfader and effects knob are perfect. Only real problem for me is the buttons press down too far, making some very quick button tap sections (Groundhog etc.) almost impossible.
There was a different thread about the rewind glitch, saying sometimes it was triggering the left analog stick on a normal controller, and it could be patched quite easily. So it may not be the controller at fault at all ¯\(°_o)/¯
