Does anyone know how to remove those freaking claps when you release star power on GH2? I made a custom and when I release SP the claps are too loud. :S If anyone did that, please let me know. Thanks. =)

As a temporary solution, you can go to Audio Options and turn down the "FX" volume.

EDIT: Apologies. Apparently this doesn't work at all! My mistake.

I saw a custom video recently that had the crowd effects turned off somehow, but the other sound effects were intact, so I know it's possible. I can't remember what custom video it was though.

Yeah, there must be a way to do that. I really don't know why I can't turn off the clapping when I mute the sound effects. I don't know if it's because it's customized, but they are loud. :|

The clapping seems loud because custom songs are usually softer because you only have one audio track as opposed to a band, guitar, and bass track. I'm not sure if I can really answer the question, but I'm sure if you mess around with the dtb files you can turn the crowd audio off or maybe find where the actual clapping audio file is and replace it with silence...just to throw out some ideas.

Yeah, turning down SFX in the audio screen does nothing. I've been searching to an answer for this forever. Still haven't figured anything out, except how to turn the crowd audio off for everything EXCEPT when star power is activated :\

Accomplished through DTB file editing. This is probably the way to go.

I see... yeah, it seems to be kinda tricky. I'll try looking in the dtb files and see if I can come up with something. If anyone knows anything about it, please let us know. Thanks.

I read in a post here that they have/had this wav2gh2wav. Doesn't it work to remove/replace those "special" wav files?
